Why I travel?

People who know me well know that one of my true passions in life is traveling. Every chance i get, I’m off on a plane, train, boat or car looking for my next adventure.   Seeing new places, meeting new people, and most importantly, creating new memories. I read a quote recently that says, “The people with whom you travel with are more important than the places you’ll go.
I’ve found this to be true, especially when you travel alone.  You must open yourself up to people which in turn expands your horizons an depth as a person.
Being in the fashion industry, many assume that I have the latest “it bag” or most current piece from the current runway collections.  Well, the truth is, as much as i love fashion, I grew up valuing people and experiences more.  For me, its more about the simple things… enjoying my friends and family and making sure we always find ways to enjoy each other through authentic experiences.
I travel to discover something new… And perhaps its something new within myself…
The purpose of this blog is to share those experiences .  And i hope you share yours with me as well!

SOUTH AFRICA

South Africa is one of the most beautiful destinations I have ever been to.  I remember back in 2000 when i had a dream that one day, i will find myself in the wilderness exploring the terrain, animals and getting back into “the wild.”

This south african adventure has been unforgetable.  First starting off in Johannesburg  for work, i arrived jetlagged and excited to work.  Once i finished, i then jetted off to the exclusive private game reserve located in Sabi Sands area called Singita.

What a gem! Exclusive, luxury, style, and adventure all in one.  It was a fantastic place to unwind, get intouch with the “wild” and meet amazing people.  What a discovery!

Since i was travelling alone, the staff took it upon themselves to take extra special care of me. :) (Thanks guys, i had the best time! see you again really soon! xoxo)
